AMA Atlanta’s Competition recognizes experience design agency’s work in integrated marketing for its campaign at the Financial Brand Forum

Tuesday, July 7, 2020 – Each year, the Atlanta Marketer of the Year (AMY) Awards recognize the companies and people who create meaningful marketing campaigns. On a livestream virtual event on Thursday, June 25, AMA Atlanta announced winners in more than a dozen marketing categories. Adrenaline was only one of two finalists in the B2B Integrated Marketing Campaign category for its “Experience the Adrenaline Effect” at the Financial Brand Forum.

In the experience design agency’s largest single marketing investment for the year, Adrenaline deployed a multipronged integrated campaign taking their message directly to a key target audience leading up to, during, and following the financial industry’s largest gathering of senior-level banking executives in the country. The campaign drove more than 20% more foot traffic onsite and exceeded its previous year’s impressions by more than 25% through marketing and social activities.  

The “Experience the Adrenaline Effect” campaign focused on telling the agency’s story in an immersive way, where people can participate in a multisensory experience that incorporates sight, sound, scent, touch, and taste for a meaningful and memorable effect. In this campaign, Adrenaline deployed a strategy that incorporated traditional and nontraditional integrated elements. On-site, a networking booth feature sensorial strategies including virtual reality, sound, scent, and touch-enabled displays. 

Chelsea Hinkel, Adrenaline’s Marketing Manager, says, “Being an AMY Award finalist is a real acknowledgment of our work. For the Financial Brand Forum, we used a mix of marketing elements like direct mail, social, and email campaigns, but where our expertise really came to life was in the booth on site.  We wanted to showcase our agency’s experience design leadership, so attendees got to use VR and experience other sensory features in the booth that really invite and compel engagement.” 

With hundreds of entries submitted from across the country – from recognized household brands to esteemed agencies doing top-notch work – the PRSA Bronze Anvil Award is unparalleled recognition of the implementation of public relations tactics that contribute to the success of organizations across the globe. Judges evaluate the tactic on four key areas – planning/content, creativity/quality, technical excellence, and results, with less than 10% of entries receiving top honors. 

With entries submitted from Georgia-based marketers, the AMY Awards honors marketers who have made their mark through their work each year. The awards are the premiere event, for AMA Atlanta whose members include professionals across the spectrum of the field of marketing, including branding, advertising, direct marketing, interactive, creative, and more.
